Professional Experience
By maintaining relationships and creating networks, I obtained a full-time professorship at George Brown College, in the School of Management. The courses I teach are in international business and supply chain management. Being involved in creating online course material and teaching students has been a great opportunity to share my knowledge and create flexible learning environments..

As Director of Education Services for Leading Edge Group, I was responsible for developing and executing the educational strategy for their global operations.
I have facilitated Lean training across a range of clients in the healthcare, government, retail and manufacturing sectors. My passion is coaching students to develop personally while delivering strategic and operational improvements for their organizations.
Leading Lean projects in the manufacturing, public health and healthcare industries has enabled those organizations to improve their operational efficiency and engaged their staff in recognizing waste and making continuous improvements to drive organizational goals forward.

Continuous Improvement has been a component of every position throughout my career. Initially my involvement was as a subject matter expert in Merchandising Pricing, then as a Category/Supply Chain Analyst. Subsequently, I progressed into facilitator roles, conducting process improvement events to develop and implement supply chain processes. This work included mapping the integration points with Merchandising, Global Sourcing and Promotional teams, as well as the process design for forecasting and replenishment systems. Responsible for developing education and training programs to support these organizational initiatives, I created material that sustained the improvements by leveraging adult learning principles and techniques and engaging participants. The impact of this experience has led me to develop a multi-stakeholder approach to education, training and change management, so that participants understand the context of their decisions across their organizations.
